Ayurveda is a holistic approach to health and wellness. It is an ancient Indian system of medicine that has been practiced for over 5,000 years, making it the oldest continually practiced medical system in the world. Ayurveda means “the science/knowledge of life” and was developed by sages who sought to understand how our bodies function as part of nature by observing nature itself: plants growing in soil; seasons changing; animals acting instinctively without thought or reason; water flowing downhill etc…
